The criteria followed by the army in selecting these vehicles are based on the highest standards of safety, reliability and toughness as used in NATO forces. The quality criteria used by the army are even more demanding that those laid down in the ISO 9001 standard, and in selecting suppliers attention is paid to the professionalism and competence they display in all aspects of their work.
The army also places special emphasis on the suppliers of its vehicles being able to offer a cast-iron guarantee as to their maintenance over time and under any circumstances.
Aucar Trailer is both pleased and proud to have been selected as a supplier to NATO forces as this is a recognition of the many years of hard work devoted to constant improvement in our products and services. This commits us to carrying on in this direction and to being more and more demanding in our goals.
The second All-Purpose European Trailer Truck, based on a Renault Midlum 280.12 chassis and cab, was supplied to the air force.
Supply was resumed, with five All-Purpose European Trailer Trucks and in 2019 of a further five to renew the fleet of trucks of this type.

The first All-Purpose European Trailer Truck, based on a Mercedes Benz 1330 L Atego chassis and cab, was supplied to the air force.
Dual Pedal Controls were installed – without affecting the armour – in 28 armoured vehicles from the National Training Centre (Centro Nacional de Adiestramiento, CNAD).
Twenty-two “Road Logistics Trucks” (Camiones Logísticos de Carretera, or CLCs) were supplied to the army for the category “C” license.
Since 2010, the army has entrusted to us the maintenance of all the vehicles we have supplied to it. The system used is of the “extended warranty” type.
In 2009 the first All-Purpose European Trailer Truck was supplied to the Spanish army driving school, based on a Mercedes Benz 1329 L Atego chassis and cab.
The Spanish army chose the All-Purpose European Trailer Truck as its first ever specific vehicle for its military driving schools throughout the country.
In November AUCAR-TRAILER was chosen to supply the All-Purpose European Trailer Truck, obtaining an entry in the NATO guide to companies and bodies recognising it as a direct supplier to the Spanish or NATO armed forces.
